In July, TikTok launched its first Rock the Tok, a regional competition focused around the platform, whereby agencies across the Middle East, Turkey, and Pakistan were invited to unleash their creativity, flex their muscles, and come up with their best campaigns on the platform.

Responding to a fictitious brief involving addressing business challenges faced in the market, the agencies had eight weeks to respond with a creative proposal that increased the relevance of the brands concerned. Agency ‿ and Us came first and was named the Grand Prix winner of the competition, followed by Gold runner-ups FP7 McCANN and Saatchi & Saatchi.
