Over the past year, the program provided 50 young marketeers from the UAE access to thought leadership content, tailored webinars, select events, mentoring opportunities, and development training from the TikTok and Marketing Society communities. Next year, the program will take a more intense approach, taking place over a six-month period from January to June, again offering 50 Scholars the chance to build their marketing and leadership capabilities.

The scholarship is open to Emiratis and residents of the UAE with fewer than five years of experience in either the marketing, advertising, communications, or PR industries, whether client-side, from an agency or consultancy, or from a media house.

Alasdair Hall-Jones, Global Director, of The Marketing Society commented, “The first year of the Scholarship has exceeded expectations and we’ve been delighted by the 2022 class. Seeing the Scholars build their capabilities, confidence, and leadership skills is what this course is all about and we’ve been extremely proud that many have received promotions and industry accolades throughout the year. We’re excited to see the caliber of the 2023 applicants and to continue to help raise the quality of the marketing industry in the UAE and the wider region. The list of scholarships will be announced in early December
