Serviceplan Middle East has appointed Unnikrishnan “Unni” Kurup as general manager and head of digital. The agency says that “digitalization is key for Serviceplan”, and Kurup’s focus will be not just overseeing the agency’s day-to-day operations, but more importantly, expanding its digital portfolio across the MENA region. This involves consolidating clients’ online and offline strategies, and further expanding the agency’s clientele, which includes Rolls-Royce, BMW, MINI, Huawei, Danone and Damac.

Following the appointment, Serviceplan Middle East has signed a cooperation agreement with Hive Advertising LLC. Egypt, in a move to “continually foster collaborative work in both creative and innovative digital solutions,” says the agency.

Kurup has over 16 years of experience in digital marketing and customer relationship management, working for multinational clients like PepsiCo , Mars, Nestle, L’Oreal , Fiat Chrysler Automotive, Mercedes, Barclays Middle East, National Bank Of Kuwait, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Pfizer to name a few. Before joining Serviceplan, Kurup was general manager at Publicis eWorks, Dubai, and has held previous positions at Impact Proximity, Bates Pangulf, e-Promoseven, and at Tata Infotech in Mumbai, India, where he jumpstarted his career.
