BMW Group Middle East has announced the renewal of its partnership with Serviceplan Middle East as the lead brand agency for the BMW and MINI brands following a multi-agency creative pitch. The agency has been holding the account since 2009, servicing the regional office in Dubai, as well as 14 importer markets across the GCC and Levant.

“We were really impressed by Serviceplan’s spirit and determination to maintain our business. The agency showed strength across all disciplines, especially in their digital approach, where they demonstrated a truly innovative and creative competitive edge,” says Bassant Hammad, communication manager BMW Group Middle East, in a press statement.

“Obviously, Serviceplan’s strategic and creative expertise in our brands BMW and MINI stems for their many years of experience with BMW Group. But in this pitch they took their skills to the next level, and we were very pleased to see that they used this opportunity to show us their ability to grow with every challenge,” she adds.

Commenting on the win, Serviceplan Middle East’s managing partner, Rami Hmadeh, adds: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with BMW Group for the next five years. Having come from a 6-year partnership with the group in the Middle East, we were confident going into the pitch. Our long partnership with the BMW Group has allowed us to fully comprehend and adapt to the nuances of servicing an international brand. Add to that the advantage of being part of Serviceplan International, a holding company responsible for managing Serviceplan offices servicing the BMW account in key markets.”
