Communicate’s parent company Mediaquest has announced its joint venture with Buro 24/7, the international and contemporary news website covering fashion and lifestyle.
Mediaquest will be responsible for all aspects including content, sales and events.
In just four years, Buro 24/7 has launched local versions in ten countries and regions, including Russia, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Ukraine and central Europe. It also has plans to launch in another 12 countries.
Globally, Miroslava Duma heads Buro 24/7 and has been cited as a “force of the fashion industry by The Financial Times and “a brilliant entrepreneur” by Vogue. She is also regular speaker and expert on business, digital and media, and has featured as a panelist at the DLD Conference in Munich, the Vogue Fashion Festival in London, the Fashion Tech Forum in New York and, for two years running, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Shannon Wylie will head Buro 24/7 Middle East’s editorial team. Wylie has been working in the fashion realm since 2006 with leading titles such as The National’s M Magazine, Ahlan Live and The Cash Collective.
