This past October, McDonald’s launched its latest “Create Your Taste” (CYT) platform in Al Ghurair Centre. Since the original launch, McDonald’s has recently expanded the new concept to three more UAE branches, which offers customers table service and a variety of customizable gourmet burgers. The new experience allows customers to order on a touchscreen kiosk, where they can choose toppings, buns and sauces.

McDonald’s restaurants at City Centre Me’aisem, Spinney’s Al Karama and Jebel Ali Gardens (ENOC Gas Station) have the option of using the self-ordering kiosk as part of the “Create Your Taste” program that includes new signature burgers like The Classic, Grilled Thriller and Hot All Over.

In a press statement, Rafic Fakih, managing director and partner at McDonald’s UAE, says, “We are excited to announce the expansion of CYT ‘Create Your Taste’ platform after the positive feedback we received from customers at McDonald’s Al Ghurair restaurant. In the upcoming months and next year, customers in other areas throughout the UAE will also be able to build their own customised burgers from CYT ‘Create Your Taste’ platform.”

According to the fast food giant, more than 22 percent of in-store customers have been using the self-order kiosk and thus the chain will continue to roll out the platform across the UAE.
