Retail ideas company Liquid fully has appointed Kristine Varma as its new Director of Finance & Operations for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
Varma joins Liquid from Saatchi & Saatchi, where she held the position of Regional Finance Director for eight years. She has also held a senior leadership role with Publicis Communications in the UAE. Throughout her career, she has been responsible for developing business and financial operations with a global remit.
In her new role, Varma will be responsible for the operational and financial direction of the organization. In addition, she will play a crucial role in partnering with the leadership team to drive excellence throughout, whilst contributing to the growth of Liquid.
A stalwart of the finance industry, Varma has over 20 years of experience within a variety of senior roles, with key competencies rooted in finance and business operations. Liquid boasted a 35% increase in revenue in 2020 and expanded recently into Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Europe, building upon its global hub office based out of Dubai.
