Grey infamously lost the Revlon account globally as the cosmetic brand took creative duties in-house.
But, closer home Grey MENA scored a big win through Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA) marketing and communications assignment. The account was awarded to Grey MENA following a multi-agency pitch.
Effective August 2018, the Dubai office of the agency will be responsible for all aspects of DEWA’s communications, with a special focus on sustainability and renewable energy in line with Dubai’s strategic plans.

Commenting on the new partnership, Nadim Khoury, CEO of Grey MENA, says in a statement: “This is a fantastic account for us to win, not only because it is a significant piece of business for an important Dubai authority, but because it continues a wonderfully successful year in which the agency has gone from strength to strength.
This isn’t Grey MENA’s first government project. Earlier this year, the agency worked with the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on a campaign to curb big sugar.

“We look forward to working with DEWA, bringing fresh ideas to its marketing strategy, and utilizing a truly integrated approach to communication as the authority embraces sustainability and renewable energy,” adds Khouri.
