The UAE chapter of the Marketing Society, awarded FP7McCann partners Mastercard and McDonald’s at the Marketing Society UAE Annual Awards Ceremony attended by 70 leading marketers to celebrate the best in regional marketing campaigns, strategies, and leadership. 

The recognized work was one of 4 case studies awarded across three key categories: Brand Evolution, Brand Communication, and Customer Engagement & Experience. In preparation to launch in 2022, Mastercard and McDonald’s developed a joint brand creative platform, drawing on their formidable stature as globally recognized brands, but also assigning clear brand roles for each.

Mastercard was positioned as the ‘joy enabler’, helping consumers to access Priceless possibilities, and McDonald’s as the ‘joy provider’ with their delicious Feel-Good moments giving people an instant smile.

The winners of the awards were judged by a panel of marketers, including Toufik Chadli, Hayleigh Ford, and Rob Beswick, who represent brands such as Al Safi Danone, HSBC and Virgin Mobile. They were joined by other senior marketing leaders who are members of the Society.
