The series will help users easily learn the basics to more advanced themes in the cryptocurrency sphere. With relevant audiences tuned into the series, Rain is also leveraging Twitter’s Amplify Sponsorship offering by running pre-roll ads and branded sponsorship content across the series.

As a leader in the region, we want to set the tone for the rest of the market, and being part of a first-of-its-kind series like this made sense to us. We want to provide as many people with a safe and secure space to buy, sell and store cryptocurrencies, as well as provide regular educational opportunities to support them” said Kirstin Lorie, VP of Marketing at Rain.

From creator monetization to new forms of self-expression, Twitter has been vocal about its exploration of the crypto space to enhance the platform’s experience. Twitter has enabled the use of digital currencies in a number of ways in the form of payment rails. These include tips and crypto payments for Ticketed Spaces and Super Follows. This year, the platform will be enabling NFT Profile Pictures within Twitter Blue Labs, creating a user-friendly way for people to directly connect their crypto wallets and showcase their NFTs on Twitter as well as verify their ownership.

Additionally, Twitter recently announced the creation of a dedicated team whose focus is to better understand crypto as a whole, stay up to date on the latest developments, and seek out what all of this means for Twitter. Looking farther ahead, Twitter will continue exploring how ideas from crypto can help push the boundaries of what’s possible with identity, community, and more while ensuring that the people on the platform are experiencing the content and topics that matter to them.
