The 8th edition of the Arab Social Media Forum – an event by Mangusteen – takes off on September 22, 2021, for a full day at the V Hotel Dubai, Curio Collection by Hilton. The forum, which is locally managed and organized by PAZ Marketing, will be a hybrid conference taking place for the first time in Dubai. Top speakers from the government and private sectors from both the agency and client sides will come together to discuss the latest updates and challenges that have faced the industry since the pandemic, in addition to the current industry trends and future opportunities.

“We are honored to bring the Arab Social Media Forum to Dubai after the great success of the previous seven editions hosted by five different countries during the past ten years. The number of Internet users in the UAE has increased by 158,000 (+1.6%) between 2020 and 2021 with an Internet penetration of 99%, while social media users reached 9.84 million, equivalent to 99% of the total population. These impressive numbers explain best why coming to Dubai this year was a must,” Said Malik Shishtawi, Founder and President of the Arab Social Media Forum.

The conference will feature seven panel talks and discussions with 35+ speakers from different backgrounds and industries. The event will be also live-streamed to provide the same learning opportunity for interested participants from all around the world.

The panels will cover key topics including: The impact of the pandemic on social media; Innovation in government and medical entities; The future of social media; The revolution of user-generated content; The state of influencer marketing; The rise of virtual events; and more.

“The regional markets had undergone a lot of changes during the pandemic, and we have seen a lot of companies adopting digital and social media changes to accelerate their businesses. We are proud to kick start Q4 with an informative day and talk through the plans and changes to take place,” says Zeina Akkawi, Founder of PAZ Marketing Management.

The event will be supported by valuable sponsors and partners including DTCM, InSpark, ArabClicks, Al Masaood Group, Sprinklr, NxtShow, and more.
