Shahid.net saw the most significant growth of all Saudi Arabian brands in ad awareness scores for the month of September, according to data from YouGov BrandIndex. The brand was followed by stc pay at number two and Facebook at number three, making them our top three Advertisers of the Month in Saudi Arabia.   

Ad Awareness reflects the share of consumers who say they have seen an advertisement for a brand in the previous two weeks, and the difference in scores (highest vs. lowest) for the month determines our Advertisers of the Month. 

Shahid.net's Saudi National Day Offer seems to have played a role in driving its Ad Awareness score upward. Between August 27 and September 24, the score rose by 7.2 points from 21.6% to 28.8%. To mark the occasion, Shahid.net introduced a limited-time discount on its VIP monthly plans for viewers without a current subscription.

Stc pay secured the second spot on YouGov's September Advertiser of the Month in the UAE. Its Ad Awareness metric witnessed a significant 7.1 percentage-point surge, rising from 31.5% on September 2 to 38.6% on September 18. 

Ranking third is Facebook. The brand experienced a 6.7-percentage-point increase in Ad Awareness, climbing from 15.4% on September 11 to 22.1% on September 23.

Methodology 
YouGov BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” Data from surveys of adults aged 18 years and above residing in KSA from 26 August to 25 September 2023. Ad Awareness scores are based on a four-week moving average. The change in scores for each brand is calculated by taking the difference between the highest and lowest scoring days within the period.
