The ABG, IAB MENA, MMA, and Marketing Society are teaming up to promote the DEI Global Census – marking an exciting new chapter of collective collaboration.
We need everyone to fill in the short global survey to help reshape the world of marketing and address the talent crisis, ensuring greater representation of men and women across all markets. Please circulate this Census link within your company and fill in this important global survey, before the end of April.
We need a minimum of 300 responses to deliver a market-specific analysis. While some countries have been proactive (New Zealand, Poland, and the United States), we need far more engagement from countries and regions (113 so far from the GCC).
The main goal of the census is to measure the state of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the marketing and advertising industry, as well as people’s sense of belonging and absence of discrimination, in order to monitor progress on the results of the inaugural 2021 census and identify key areas where change is needed.
The first census found one in seven people would consider leaving their company or the industry due to a lack of diversity and inclusion, rising to one in four in some markets.
The Global DEI Census is supported by WFA, VoxComm, Campaign, Kantar, Advertising Week, Cannes Lions, Effie Worldwide, IAA, Global Web Index (GWI), ICAS, and EASA among others.
The advertising industry is coming together as one to support this important initiative.
