Ad platform Petal Ads (formerly Huawei Ads), which boasts over 53,000 media partners worldwide and 10.5 billion daily ad requests, has announced a new partnership with MMP World Wide (MMPWW).

This collaboration will allow MMPWW to further strengthen its presence in international markets, including China, while expanding its portfolio of ad networks to include exclusive Huawei audiences.

Petal Ads will scale up immersive solutions across the MENA region by capitalizing on MMPWW’s programmatic expertise, offering multiple activation options and experiences to connect with consumers on the platforms where they spend the most time.

Additionally, the partnership will enable Petal Ads to better monetize its digital ad inventory and boost campaign performance through targeted and effective programmatic in-app advertising. Recognized as one of the best ways to reach audiences, this technology will provide advertisers with tailored solutions on a global scale.

The opportunity for in-app advertising has been growing exponentially over the past few years, with the number of mobile subscribers to reach 45 million by 2025 in the region alone. Recognizing that MENA is fast becoming a global hub for adtech, this collaboration between Petal Ads and MMPWW further heightens the investment being made in the market.

Petal Ads will provide MMPWW with a suite of capabilities to help businesses and brands enhance their ad experience and stand out from the crowd, with premium and exclusive ad spots on Huawei’s own media, such as AppGallery, Huawei Video, Huawei Music, Petal Search, etc., each with over 100 million MAUs, guaranteeing high viewability, precise targeting, and brand safety.

“We are delighted to collaborate with a regional powerhouse like MMP WorldWide and are confident that this collaboration will usher us into a new era and open new doors for advertisers in the region. At Huawei, we are always interested in forming partnerships with companies that are at the forefront of the adtech industry and understand the power of programmatic advertising and its role in brand building. Through this collaboration, we hope to provide advertisers with new ways to target customers by leveraging the Petal Ads ecosystem,’’ said William Hu, Managing Director of Huawei Consumer Business Group, Middle East and Africa Eco Development and Operation.

Ayman Haydar, CEO of MMP World Wide, added, “We are excited to be a Petal Ads certified partner and look forward to collaborating on bringing these exclusive solutions to the market. Huawei already has a significant market share in the MENA region and is steadily expanding its customer base, and I am confident that we can effectively offer the industry this Petal Ads ecosystem. With China now easing up travel restrictions, the timing is perfect for us to help MENA advertisers target more effectively in the biggest market in the world.”

Petal Ads provides extra coverage within the major third-party apps and media in the MENA region. As of December 31, 2022, Petal Ads has cooperated with advertisers spanning 200+ industries, with more than 53,000 apps worldwide having integrated Ads Kit.
