Global youth media brand Vice Media Group will open its new regional headquarters in Riyadh’s JAX cultural district next month. The new headquarters will help to expand Vice’s footprint in the region while bolstering relationships with key partners in the Kingdom including the Ministry of Culture, Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG), NEOM, MBC, and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.
Vice Media Group has operated in the Middle East since 2017, where it has produced and distributed content focused on culture, lifestyle, and entertainment across multiple languages including Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, and English.
Expanding its existing presence in Saudi Arabia, Vice’s new regional headquarters will put the media group at the heart of Riyadh’s creative and cultural community and will offer clients a full range of production capabilities including a podcast studio, editing suites, and a soundstage.
Commenting on the opening, Managing Director MEA Tarek Khalil said in a statement, “Our enhanced operations in the Kingdom is truly a testament to our continued drive and focus to contribute, and be a part of the country’s dynamic youth culture. As part of our commitment to the market, we will also be hiring Saudi nationals to join our dynamic and thriving team. Our unique storytelling capabilities and presence in the Kingdom will allow us to grow our business and support new and existing partners who are looking to tap into younger audiences and be part of the Kingdom’s cultural movement.”
Vice Global Chief Marketing Officer Nadja Bellan-White added, “We’re excited to be expanding our commitment to youth culture around the world with our new regional headquarters in the thriving JAX District. With such a youthful population in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the region, Vice is in a prime position to really make a difference for our partners to help them reach their audiences in a culturally relevant way.”
