Havas Middle East has welcomed communications veteran Alejandro Fischer as SVP – Strategy & Product Innovation for the region. In this new role, Fischer drives the integration of strategy, strategic processes, and insights across all disciplines – Creative, Media, and PR – within the Havas Village in the MENA markets.
His responsibilities include overseeing the strategy output across the business, working alongside the agency’s strategic leadership and vertical centers of excellence such as data, insights, social, and content, in order to deliver upstream strategic thinking, communications, channel and data planning as well as developing new integrated agency products for both internal stakeholders and existing and prospective clients.
Fischer started his career in Canada and moved to Dubai in 2011 to join Havas Media Middle East as Associate Director Digital, then Strategy Director, leading strategy, content, and partnerships on key clients such as Emirates Airlines (global hub), Dubai Tourism (global hub), FAB, Chanel, and Hyundai Kia.
He was then named Head of Strategy, primarily focused on building a holistic strategy and data insights offering for the Middle East market.
