Since joining Hearts & Science in 2016, Rawan has grown from a planner to a strategic lead and consultant on brands’ holistic perfor- mance, digital transformation, and e-commerce strategies.

How did you land your first job?

I leveraged my research skills to follow an unconventional job search route, which entailed visiting the website/social media pages of a list of companies and then emailing them.

Who do you look up to?

Throughout my journey, I try to view each person I interact with as unique due to a certain merit; I look up to this merit in every one of us to keep on improving myself.

Disregard the negativity and embrace the positivity surrounding you to keep on growing. Your actions will always speak louder than words, so just power through and focus on results.

Fashion design. In my current job, each piece of clothing is a different brand with a different story and challenge. As an alternative, this job will allow me to use my creativity to conceptualize a unique story to be told.
