Icflix – the region’s Netflix – has collaborated with du, which enables customers to subscribe directly from their phone, eliminating the need for a credit card. The subscription fee will be charged to their monthly mobile bill or prepaid credit from du. This makes the transaction secure, as payment details will not be shared, while customers without credit cards are free to use the paid-for service.

The icflix service enables customer to watch movies, TV shows, cartoons and documentaries on any internet-enabled device for AED 29 per month. Subscribers will get complete access to icflix’s comprehensive portfolio, which includes Jazwood (Arabic content) and, Hollywood and Bollywood movies.

As a launch offer, icflix is granting customers who subscribe via their du mobile Direct Operator Billing a one-month subscription free of charge for a limited time period. The newly announced collaboration is the beginning of a wider partnership between du and icflix, which will continue to offer customers of both companies more added value services, promotions and more.
