Abu Dhabi Media’s Aletihad newspaper has entered into a commercial partnership with The Wall Street Journal (WSJ). This partnership will enable Aletihad to leverage WSJ’s reporting and analysis to expand its readership and strengthen its digital news offering.

The agreement that took place last week was was attended by Dr Ali bin Tamim, Director General of Abu Dhabi Media; HE Dr. Obaid Al Zaabi, CEO of the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA); Mohammad Al Hammadi, Editor-in-Chief of Aletihad Newspaper and Executive Director of Publishing at Abu Dhabi Media; and Nick Pimm, Director of Commercial Partnerships at Dow Jones, as well as representatives from the SCA and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.

As part of the new deal, those who subscribe to Aletihad after February 19 will receive a one-year subscription to the digital edition of WSJ. The partnership will grant Abu Dhabi Media access to additional news stories, features, opinion pieces, videos, and infographics to share in English and Arabic across its digital platforms.
