Exactly one year back, MCG& Group launched Ampersand, a talent consultancy providing L&D, search, strategic advisory and M&A services with Nick Clements – who was already group COO – at the helm.
Today, the company celebrates its first birthday, several new client wins and a partnership with IPA to offer training and certification in the region.
Ampersand operates across Dubai, Hong Kong, London, and Singapore and has worked with clients such as Aston Martin Lagonda, Johnson & Johnson, Travelex, and Unimoni.

“We believe that the Ampersand ethos of ‘Creative Learning’ has been central to our success in securing so many fabulous projects from some of the World’s highest profile brands from a standing start in less than 12 months and the future looks bright too with more projects from existing clients and new clients in Dubai, Hong Kong, London, and Singapore,” says Clements.
‘Creative Learning’ is Ampersand’s tailor-made approach based on the individual, organization and country. Clements further adds that this approach is about changing the rules of training to develop and deliver more engaging, stimulating and uplifting experiences which maximize both, the transfer of knowledge, and the return on investment.

Ampersand manages to deliver on this approach through a series of partnerships with 80 handpicked associate trainers from around the world. It also works closely with the other MCG& companies to complement the recruitment division’s activities and offer clients a better understanding of client’s attitudes to their talent pools.
