Ampersand, a global specialist marketing and talent consultancy, has been chosen by Johnson & Johnson Middle East to run and manage its new Distributor Academy Programme across Africa, Middle East and Turkey.
The two year appointment will see Ampersand develop and deliver a bespoke ‘classroom’ and video training syllabus to help J&J distributor partners’ sales teams build on their existing soft skills, brand and product knowledge.
Over 500 delegates from 16 countries will benefit from the training, which is available in four languages and is made up of a series of stand-alone blended learning modules and videos that build to create a cohesive whole.
At the end of each course, participants will be formally assessed with successful delegates receiving the ‘J&J Certificate of Achievement’.
The Distributor Academy programme is the initiative of Darren Thompson from Johnson & Johnson Middle East who says in a statement, “J&J are committed to providing the best of our distributor partners’ sales talent with the best possible training to help us to continue to build the business across the region and we are delighted to be working with training specialists Ampersand to develop our teams’ skill sets further.”
Ampersand CEO Nick Clements adds, “In this highly competitive sector J&J is committed to providing their distribution partners with best in class training and we are delighted to have been chosen to construct and deliver the J&J Distributor Academy which will help them do just that. The programme will run through 2019 and 2020 and will be built and based on our training ethos of ‘Creative Learning’.”
